UEPG and 8 other European sector associations, representing the European Non-Energy Extractive Industries (Aggregates, Cement, Ceramics, Expanded Clay, Gypsum, Industrial Minerals, Mining, Natural Stones and Salt), organise biannual Fora with high level representatives from the European Commission, European Parliament and other relevant EU Institutions addressing topical policies currently under debate.
The 2014 NEEIP Forum takes the priorities of the new European Commission, led by President Jean-Claude Juncker, as the opportunity to address “Reindustrialisation of Europe - Paving the way for Economic Recovery and Job Creation” with the objective to raise awareness to the need for sustainable growth, smarter regulation and better implementation. Reindustrialisation is also the overarching aim of the European Parliament Committee for Industry, Research and Energy.
On behalf of the 9 industry sector associations mentioned above, we invite you to attend the first Forum to debate together with high-level representatives from Commission, Council, Employee representation and Industry. The Forum will take place
